SUP in the rivers – standup paddleboarding which is snowboarding with a paddle (similar to a windsurfing board but without a sail) in the upright position. Although this sport is not so popular in Poland yet, there are lots of fans of this discipline abroad. The localisation of our hotel and passion for outdoor activities, following the world's trends, tempted us to try out SUP in the Poprad River. Just from the first rafting down the mountain river our guests catch the love for this water sport!
This is how the first SUP in Poland on rivers had place which now is a serious competition for the shore. In the year 2004 we decided to take a step forward and we organised Polish Open SUP Championships on rivers. There were already two successful editions full of positive sports emotions and a growing group of champions of SUP on rivers.
We encourage our guests to come to SUP rental facility located in the hotel which offers full equipment and professional instructor's care during:
- shorter route rafting (from the hotel to Młodów): PLN 50.00 / person
- longer route rafting (from the borderline with Slovakia to the hotel): PLN 100.00 / person
This price includes full equipment (board, leash, paddle, helmet, vest, instructor's assistance and transfer).
